Sono stati resi noti tutti i dettagli di “Awakening”, prossimo album del progetto Phenomena di Tom Galley.

Prodotto dallo stesso Tom Galley e da Martin Kronlund, “Awekening” uscirà il 23 Marzo tramite Escape Music e avrà al suo interno tantissimi ospiti internazionali come James Christian (House of Lords), Lee Small (Shy),  Toby Hitchcock (Pride of Lions), Rob Moratti, Terry Brock, Mike DiMeo e molti altri…

Il primo progetto Phenomena, dal titolo omonimo,  risale all’84.  A questo album ne seguiranno altri due il primo nell’87 (Dream Runner) ed il secondo nel ’92 (InnerVision).

Dopodichè calerà il silenzio sui Phenomena fino al 2006, anno in cui i fratelli Tom Galley (produttore) e Mel Galley (chitarrista), riporteranno alla luce il progetto dando vita al buon PsycoFantasy… ma cos’è il progetto Phenomena?

Praticamente Tom Galley ha pensato bene nel lontano ’84 di prendere alcuni tra gli elementi migliori del panorama Hard Rock e Rock Melodico mondiale,  confezionare in base alle loro migliori capacità una serie di pezzi che vi sia adattasse alla perfezione e creare così un disco di successo.

A questo primo disco ne seguiranno poi altri sempre basati sulla stessa base,  buona musica “Hard & Melodic Rock” ed una nutrita schiera di artisti tra cui sicuramente sono da ricordare negli anni anche il grande Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion, Deep Purple, Trapezee) ed il chitarrista dei Queen Brian May.

Anche questo suo nuovo lavoro Blind Faith,  il primo purtroppo senza il fratello Mel Galley alla chitarra stroncato da un male incurabile nel 2008,  può contare su artisti di grande calibro come Terry Brock,  Robin Beck,  Steve Overland, Tommy Denander e Steve Newman solo per citarne alcuni.
