Chris Ousey, Mike Slamer, Tommy Denander, Neil Murray, Greg Bissonette. Con una line-up del genere, difficilmente si può sbagliare. Ed è proprio il caso di questo “Rhyme & Reason”, prima uscita solista ufficiale per “l’uomo dalle tonsille d’oro”, alias Chris Ousey. Dopo una carriera costellata da tanti splendidi lavori (prima con i Virginia Wolf di Jason Bonham e poi negli Heartland) il singer inglese ha pensato bene di realizzare il suo personale disco solista affidandosi nelle mani di gente esperta come Mike Slamer e Tommy Denander. Il primo ha prodotto e mixato il disco, suonando la chitarra e tastiere mentre il secondo ha co-prodotto il disco contribuendo anche lui alla chitarra e tastiere. Sezione ritmica affidata, come anticipato all’inizio, ad altri due big del settore quali Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Gary Moore) e Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Joe Satriani ecc.).
