Il prossimo 24 Novembre, i Lillian Axe pubblicheranno The Box Volume One – Resurrection tramite Cherry Red Records, primo di un cofanetto in due parti che raccoglierà i classici album in studio e dal vivo della band americana, oltre ad un’enorme quantità di rarità e canzoni inedite.

Dopo le ristampe Deluxe dei primi due dischi nel 2017, arriva ora quindi questa raccolta da 7 CD, che copre le uscite dal 1992 al 2009, a partire dai classici Poetic Justice e Psychoschizophrenia, fino all’amato Sad Day On Planet Earth, il tutto arricchito tatantissime registrazioni mai ascoltate prima, inclusi unreleased demo del seminale Love & War del 1989.

Compreso anche il lavoro solista del 2004, Random Acts Of Blindness, del chitarrista e leader dei Lillian Axe, Steve Blaze, difficile da reperire.

Dice lo stesso Blaze: “Siamo entusiasti di avere questo cofanetto in due parti, pieno di tracce extra, costituite da registrazioni dal vivo e demo. E’ meraviglioso vedere lo sviluppo delle canzoni dalla loro nascita sino alla fine e condividerle con i nostri amici. Avere questi album raggruppati insieme in questo modo è una prospettiva unica del viaggio infinito dei Lillian Axe”.
