Sicuramente fra le più importanti band australiane di sempre, i Rose Tattoo si formarono a Sydney nel 1976 e divennero rapidamente uno dei gruppi Rock più celebrati del Paese. Angry Anderson e compagni hanno pubblicato negli anni diversi lavori di puro Hard Rock adrenalinico, sfornando successi come Bad Boy For Love, Rock’n’Roll Outlaw, Scarred For Life e molti altri ancora.

La band divenne nota a livello internazionale soprattutto quando i Guns N’Roses citarono i Rose Tattoo come una delle loro principali influenze e coverizzarono Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock’n’Roll) nell’EP del 1986, Live ?!*@Like A Suicide, successivamente ripubblicato sull’album multi-platino del 1988, GN’R Lies.

Ora, alla vigilia di un altro importante Tour internazionale, arriva questo speciale box set di 5 CD, che cattura questi storici musicisti all’apice del loro successo fra il 1980 e il 1982. Scarred For Live – che offre 5 performance del gruppo in diverse location – presenta tutti i successi più amati dei Rose Tattoo e diversi brani meno conosciuti, il tutto confezionato in una scatola con foto rare e note di copertina dettagliate scritte dal giornalista Dave Thompson, sulla base di una nuova intervista con il frontman Angry Anderson.
