I Lynyrd Skynyrd lanciano il Farewell Tour

I leggendari Lynyrd Skynyrd sono pronti per imbarcarsi in una Tournèe d’addio e hanno già annunciato la prima tappa del loro Last Of The Street Survivors Farewell Tour, che si svolgerà in Primavera ed Estate in Nord America.

“Era difficile immaginare che, dopo tutti questi anni, la band che Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins ed io abbiamo iniziato a Jacksonville, avrebbe suonato per così tanto tempo e per così tante generazioni di fans”, racconta il chitarrista Gary Rossington. “Sono certo che loro ci stanno guardando dall’alto, stupiti che la nostra musica abbia toccato così tanti…”.

“Siamo stati benedetti da queste grandi canzoni e dai messaggi che trasmettono ai fans”, prosegue il cantante Johnny Van Zant. “È stato un vero onore aver provato a seguire le orme di mio fratello negli ultimi 31 anni, mantenendo viva la sua musica e il suo spirito”.

Il Tour inizierà il 4 Maggio presso l’Anfiteatro Coral Sky di West Palm Beach, in Florida, e si concluderà il 1° Settembre all’Anfiteatro Cellairis di Lakewood ad Atlanta.

Durante il lungo percorso, i Lynyrd Skynyrd condivideranno il palco con molti dei loro amici, tra cui Kid Rock, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Blackfoot e Blackberry Smoke.
