Winger: in uscita la raccolta Chapter One – Atlantic Years 1988-1993

Uno dei gruppi hard rock più trasmessi su MTV tra la fine degli anni Ottanta e l’inizio dei Novanta erano i Winger, una formazione che aveva tutto: qualità da esperti, successo nelle classifiche, Tour nelle arene, ecc.. Gli album più venduti della band saranno ora raccolti insieme nel nuovo cofanetto Chapter One – Atlantic Years 1988-1993, che uscirà il 17 Novembre tramite Atlantic/BMG e sarà disponibile sia in versione Vinile che CD.

Saranno inclusi il debutto omonimo della band del 1988 (che ha generato le hit Madalaine, Seventeen e Headed For A Heartbreak), In The Heart Of The Young del 1990 (che ci ha dato Can’t Get Enuff, Miles Away e Easy Come Easy Go) e Pull del 1993 (che conteneva Down Incognito).

E i fan di lunga data del gruppo – la cui line-up classica comprendeva il cantante/bassista Kip Winger, i chitarristi Reb Beach e Paul Taylor ed il batterista Rod Morgenstein – saranno probabilmente molto incuriositi dall’inclusione del quarto disco, intitolato Demo Anthology, che include versioni demo originali dei più grandi successi dei Winger.

Inoltre, il set sarà rimasterizzato da Ted Jensen, con il processo supervisionato dallo stesso Kip Winger, che afferma: “Sono molto orgoglioso di questo boxset. Cattura un’era indimenticabile per la band e queste sono le uniche rimasterizzazione che approvo ufficialmente”.
