Temptation è l’album di debutto dei Serpents In Paradise, band assemblata dal chitarrista Tobias Eurich dopo lo scioglimento dei metallers Spitefuel con la volontà di suonare un Hard Rock classico e dalla matrici blues.

Dopo aver assoldato il bassista Matthias Lüönd ed il batterista Jason Steve Mageney, le registrazioni del disco sono arrivate piuttosto velocemente ed il risultato è ora disponibile tramite MDD Records.

Visto la mancanza di un vocalist adatto, il gruppo ha optato per una serie di ospiti noti: Gianni Pontillo (Victory), Mark Fox (Shakra), Stu Block (Into Eternity, Iced Earth), Herbie Langhans (Firewind, Avantasia) e Alex Kühner (High Tide).
