I leggendari Whitesnake raggiunsero il terzo disco di platino consecutivo con il loro ottavo studio album, Slip Of The Tongue. Pubblicato originariamente nel Novembre 1989, il full-length raggiunse la posizione #10 nelle Album Chart di Regno Unito e Stati Uniti, grazie in gran parte ai suoi singoli di successo da Top 40, Fool For Your Loving e The Deeper The Love.

Uno dei loro dischi da sempre preferiti dai fan compie quest’anno ben 30 anni e Rhino festeggia l’occasione con diverse nuove versioni, tra cui un colossale set di 7 dischi.

Slip Of The Tongue – 30th Anniversary Edition sarà disponibile dal 4 Ottobre. La collezione 6CD/DVD include una versione recentemente rimasterizzata dell’album, oltre a registrazioni in studio inedite, audio e video della performance della band al Festival Monsters Of Rock del 1990 e una nuova intervista con il fondatore e cantante principale degli Whitesnake, David Coverdale; inoltre, incluso un libro a copertina rigida di 60 pagine pieno di rari cimeli dell’epoca. Per un periodo di tempo limitato, Rhino.com offrirà l’edizione Super Deluxe abbinata ad una litografia firmata da David Coverdale.

Altre versioni di Slip Of The Tongue saranno la doppia edizione Deluxe CD, che include l’album rimasterizzato con una selezione di bonus track rare ed inedite, ed una doppia edizione Deluxe LP, che presenta l’album rimasterizzato insieme ad una selezione di tracce bonus uniche. Una versione a disco singolo include l’album rimasterizzato, insieme a singoli B-Sides più registrazioni alternative. La musica sarà disponibile anche in digitale.
