I leggendari Sweet hanno annunciato la pubblicazione di nuovo studio album, a titolo New York Connection, fissata per il 27 aprile 2012.

Il disco sarà formato da una raccolta di cover, interamente reinterpretate dalla band, e personalmente selezionate da Andy Scott (chitarra e voce), l’unico componente originale rimasto in formazione. Con lui, i nuovi ingressi Pete Lincoln (voce e basso), Tony O’Hora (chitarra, tastiere, voce) e Bruce Bisland (batteria, voce).
